Get Your Company & Drivers on Bikum

A step-by-step guide for transport companies to register on Bikum, onboard their drivers, and start receiving load requests from shippers across the UAE.

Company Registration 100% Free, always
Accept Commission Done once by the company
Bank Details Required before first quote
Drivers via Mobile App Auto-linked to your company

Two Simple Paths to Get Started

Carrier onboarding on Bikum has two distinct flows — one for the company, one for each driver. Both are straightforward and designed to get you operational fast.

Part 1 — Company
Register & Set Up Your Company

Done once by the company admin via the Bikum web portal. Covers registration, commission acceptance, verification, and bank details.

Done on the Bikum Web Portal
Free — no registration fees ever
Company accepts commission on behalf of all drivers
Bank details added in portal — needed before first quote
Company can submit quotes on behalf of any driver in the fleet
Part 2 — Drivers
Onboard Each Driver

Each driver registers via the Bikum mobile app. They auto-link to your company using your traffic file number. No commission or bank steps needed — the company handles those.

Done on the Bikum Mobile App
180-day free trial per truck — starts from when the truck is added, not from driver registration
After trial: 600 AED / 180 days or 1,000 AED / 360 days per driver
Auto-links via your traffic file number
No commission or bank steps for company drivers

Register Your Carrier Company

Follow these steps on the Bikum web portal to create your company account. This is done once by a company admin.

1
Company Step 1
Go to the Carrier Registration Page

Visit the Bikum carrier registration page on the web portal. This is where your company account begins.

URL: bikum.org/carrier/companyregister
Or click "Register Company" from the top of this page.
2
Company Step 2
Enter Your Company Details

Fill in your company's legal information. Make sure all details match your official trade licence documents.

Required information:
• Company name (as registered)
• Email address and phone number
• UAE Trade Licence number
• Trade Licence document (PDF, JPG, or PNG — uploaded during registration)
• Password for your carrier portal account
3
Company Step 3
Read & Accept the Commission Agreement

The company reviews and accepts Bikum's platform commission structure. This is done once by the company admin and covers all drivers operating under your account — individual drivers do not see or accept commission terms separately.

Company commission tiers (deducted from completed loads):
• 0 – 2,000 AED load value → 8% platform fee
• 2,001 – 5,000 AED load value → 6% platform fee
• Above 5,000 AED load value → 5% platform fee

Instruct your drivers to factor this into their quotes to shippers.
Company carrier rates are lower than individual driver rates (10%). The company accepts once — drivers registered under your traffic file number automatically operate under your company's commission terms.
4
Company Step 4
Submit & Await Bikum Verification

Once you submit your registration, the Bikum team reviews your account and documentation. You'll receive a confirmation email once approved.

What happens during verification:
• Bikum reviews your company details and trade licence
• You receive a confirmation email of your commission acceptance
• Bikum team activates your carrier account
• You gain full access to the Carrier Portal
Check your email inbox (and spam) for the Bikum verification confirmation. Contact contact@bikum.org if you don't hear back within 1 business day.
5
Company Step 5 — Important
Add Your Bank Account Details

Once verified and logged in to the Carrier Portal, add your company's bank account details. This is where Bikum will transfer your earnings after completed deliveries.

Required bank details:
• Bank name (select from UAE bank list)
• Account holder name
• UAE IBAN number

Where to add them: Carrier Portal → Settings → Bank Account Details
Bank details are not mandatory during registration, but your drivers will see a warning when submitting quotes until they are added. Without bank details, completed delivery payments cannot be transferred to your company.
6
Company Step 6
Add & Share Your Traffic File Number

Before your drivers can register, you must first add your company's traffic file number to the Bikum portal. This is what allows the system to automatically link drivers to your company when they register their truck.

Step 1 — Add your traffic file number in the portal:
• Log in to the Carrier Portal dashboard
• Click the "Add Traffic File Number" button
• Enter your traffic file number and upload the required registration card document
• Save — the traffic file number is now registered to your company in the system

Step 2 — Share it with your drivers:
• Copy your registered traffic file number from the dashboard
• Share it in writing with each driver before they register their truck on the app
• When a driver enters this number during truck registration, the system automatically links them to your company
You can add multiple traffic file numbers to your company from the dashboard. Each driver should use the traffic file number that matches their specific truck's registration.
7
Company Step 7
Submit Quotes on Behalf of Your Drivers

Once your drivers are active, the company admin can submit load quotes on behalf of any driver in the fleet directly from the Carrier Portal — without the driver needing to do anything from the app.

How it works:
• Browse available loads posted by shippers in the Carrier Portal
• Select which driver and truck to assign the load to
• Submit a quote on their behalf
• The driver is notified and proceeds with pickup once the shipper accepts

This is especially useful for fleet managers who coordinate jobs centrally rather than leaving each driver to find and quote on loads independently.
Drivers can still submit quotes themselves via the mobile app. The company portal gives you an additional layer of control to manage workload distribution across your fleet.

Onboard Your Drivers

Each driver registers independently using the Bikum mobile app. Share these steps with every driver in your fleet. The key is the traffic file number — it links them to your company automatically.

This section is for company drivers only The steps below apply to drivers who will be registered under your carrier company using your traffic file number. Independent drivers (not affiliated with any carrier company on Bikum) follow a different process — they accept commission and add their own bank details via the mobile app. That process is separate from this guide.
1
Driver Step 1
Download the Bikum App

Your driver downloads the Bikum mobile app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). The app is free to download.

Search for "Bikum" on the App Store or Google Play Store.
Or visit bikum.org/#download for direct links.
Driver registration is only available via the mobile app. There is no web portal registration for drivers.
2
Driver Step 2
Create a Driver Account

The driver opens the app and signs up. The first step is selecting a role, then filling in personal details.

Step 1 — Select role:
• Choose Shipper (to post loads) or Carrier (to transport loads)
• Drivers must select Carrier

Step 2 — Fill in personal details:
• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Password
• Account type: Individual (independent driver) or Company (driver working under a carrier company) — drivers linked to your fleet must select Company

Alternative — Sign in with:
Google account (available on Android devices)
Apple account (available on iOS devices)
Drivers registering under your company should select Company as their account type. This, combined with entering your traffic file number in the next steps, is what links them to your fleet.
3
Driver Step 3
Register Their Truck

After creating an account, the driver registers their truck. This is where the company link is established via the traffic file number.

Information needed for truck registration:
• Truck plate number
• Truck type (flatbed, refrigerated, tanker, etc.)
• Truck weight class
• Country and city of registration
Traffic file number (see Step 4 below)
• Vehicle registration card images (front & back — mandatory)
• Operating domain: Domestic (UAE only)
The vehicle registration card photo is mandatory. The app uses AI (OCR) to auto-fill some fields from the image — drivers should photograph it clearly in good lighting.
4
Driver Step 4 — Most Important
Enter the Company Traffic File Number

This is the step that automatically links the driver to your company. The driver enters your company's traffic file number during truck registration.

How it works:
• Driver fills in the traffic file number manually and scans the barcode on the back of the vehicle registration card
• The system checks if the number is registered to a carrier company on Bikum
• If it matches your company → the company name auto-fills and locks
• The driver's account type automatically changes to "company driver"
• The driver is now officially linked to your fleet in the system

What changes for company drivers:
• Commission is handled by the company — driver does not see or accept commission terms
• Bank details are managed by the company — driver does not add bank account details
• Driver operates under the company's agreed commission tiers (8/6/5%)
Share your traffic file number with each driver before they register. If they skip it or enter it incorrectly, they'll register as an independent driver and won't be linked to your company.
5
Driver Step 5
Subscribe & Go Live

Once the truck is registered, the driver's 180-day free trial begins automatically. The driver is immediately visible on the Bikum map and can start receiving loads — no payment needed during the trial period.

Free trial:
180 days free per truck — starts from the day the truck is added, not from the driver's registration date
• Full platform access during the trial: receive loads, submit quotes, GPS tracking

After the trial, subscription options (per driver/truck):
600 AED for 180 days
1,000 AED for 360 days (save 200 AED)

Payment is made securely in-app when the driver subscribes after the trial ends.
As company admin, you can monitor all linked drivers and their subscription status from the Carrier Portal dashboard.
Platform Commission

Commission Structure for Carrier Companies

Bikum deducts a platform fee from completed load payments. Company carriers benefit from lower rates than independent drivers.

Load Value Platform Fee Driver Receives
0 – 2,000 AED
8%
e.g. 2,000 AED load
Driver gets: 1,840 AED
2,001 – 5,000 AED
6%
e.g. 3,000 AED load
Driver gets: 2,820 AED
Above 5,000 AED
5%
e.g. 8,000 AED load
Driver gets: 7,600 AED

Important Notes

Commission is only charged on completed deliveries — not on quotes or cancelled jobs.
Company carriers get lower rates than individual drivers (who pay 10% flat). This rewards fleet operators.
Drivers should factor in the platform fee when submitting quotes to shippers. If they want 2,000 AED net, they should quote accordingly.
The commission is deducted automatically from the payment before it's released to the company's account.

Simple, Transparent Pricing

Company registration is always free. You only pay a subscription per driver to activate them on the platform.

Every driver gets a 180-day free trial The free trial starts automatically from the day the driver adds their truck — not from driver registration. Full platform access during the trial: receive loads, submit quotes, GPS tracking. No subscription payment required to get started.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from carrier companies getting started on Bikum.

How do my drivers get linked to my company automatically?
The link happens through your traffic file number. When a driver registers their truck in the Bikum app and enters your company's traffic file number, the system checks the database. If the number matches your registered carrier company, the driver's account is automatically upgraded to a "company driver" and linked to your fleet. You'll see them appear in your Carrier Portal. This is why it's critical to share your traffic file number with every driver before they register.
Do my drivers need to accept the commission agreement themselves?
No. Commission is handled entirely by the carrier company. The company admin accepts the commission agreement once during registration, and it automatically applies to all drivers registered under your traffic file number. Company drivers do not see or accept commission terms separately — this is one of the key differences between company drivers and independent drivers on Bikum.
When do I need to add bank details — is it required during registration?
Bank details are not mandatory during the initial company registration. However, they are required for your company to receive payments for completed deliveries. When the carrier company or their drivers submit quotes without bank details being on file, a warning message will appear reminding them to add bank details. Payments for completed loads will be held until bank details are added. We recommend adding them as soon as your account is verified to avoid any payment delays.
Can I register my drivers from the web portal?
No. Driver registration must be done by the driver themselves using the Bikum mobile app (available on iOS and Android). The web portal is for company management only — viewing drivers, managing traffic file numbers, adding bank details, and monitoring loads. Each driver needs to download the app and complete registration on their own device.
What if a driver enters the wrong traffic file number?
If the driver enters an incorrect or unrecognised traffic file number, the system will not link them to any company and they'll be registered as an independent driver instead — which means they'll be subject to individual driver commission rates (10%) and will need to add their own bank details. This can be corrected after registration: the driver can update their truck details from the app and enter the correct traffic file number. Once the correct number is saved, the system will automatically link them to the carrier company and update their account type accordingly. Always provide drivers with your exact traffic file number in writing before they register to avoid this.
Do company drivers need to add their own bank details?
No. Bank details are managed entirely by the carrier company through the web portal. When a driver is linked to your company, all payments for completed deliveries go to your company's bank account. Company drivers do not add or manage bank details — that is the company's responsibility. This also means if a driver leaves your company, their loads' payment will no longer go to your account once the link is removed.
Who pays the driver subscription — the company or the driver?
The subscription can be paid either by the driver through the mobile app, or by the carrier company through the Carrier Portal. Both can make the payment — it is not tied to the truck registration process and should be completed before the current subscription period ends to avoid any interruption to the driver's access on the platform.
How many drivers can I register under one company?
There is no limit on the number of drivers you can have under your carrier company on Bikum. Each driver requires their own subscription (600 AED/180 days or 1,000 AED/360 days), but you can scale your fleet to as many drivers as your business needs. All drivers appear in your Carrier Portal for easy fleet management.
How long does company verification take?
The Bikum team typically reviews and verifies carrier company registrations within 5 business day. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account is approved. If you don't hear back within that timeframe, please contact us at contact@bikum.org or call +971 (06) 741-7042.
Does each driver get a free trial period?
Yes. Yes. Every driver gets a 180-day free trial per truck. The trial starts automatically from the day the truck is added in the app — not from the driver's registration date. This means a driver can register today but only add their truck weeks later, and the 180 days will start counting from that truck addition date. During the trial, the driver has full platform access — their truck is visible on the map, they can receive loads, submit quotes, and use GPS tracking. No payment is required. After the 180 days end, the driver subscribes: 600 AED for 180 days or 1,000 AED for 360 days.
Can the company submit quotes without the driver doing anything?
Yes. The company admin can submit quotes on behalf of any driver in the fleet directly from the Carrier Portal. You browse available loads, select the appropriate driver and truck, and submit the quote. The driver is then notified and handles the pickup and delivery. This gives fleet managers full central control over workload distribution without relying on each driver to find and bid on loads independently. Drivers can still submit their own quotes via the mobile app at the same time.
What control does the company have over their drivers on the platform?
The carrier company has full control over all drivers registered under their fleet from the Carrier Portal. This includes: tracking the real-time GPS location of each driver's truck, renewing driver subscriptions before they expire, deactivating a driver's account to suspend their access to the platform, and reactivating their account when needed. This gives fleet managers complete visibility and control over their entire operation from one central dashboard.
When does a driver's account become fully active and eligible to receive loads?
A driver account alone is not enough to receive loads or shipper requests. The driver's account only becomes fully active and eligible to receive loads after they have completed their truck registration — including uploading the vehicle registration card, entering the traffic file number, and having their truck details saved in the system. Until the truck is added, the driver will not appear on the Bikum map and cannot receive any load requests or shipper calls.
Why should drivers enable location tracking always and in the background?
Enabling location tracking always — including in the background — is critical for drivers to get the most out of the Bikum platform. When background location is active, shippers can see the driver's real-time position on the map and send load requests even when the driver is not actively using the app. Without it, the driver's truck will not appear on the shipper's map, meaning they will miss nearby load opportunities. Background location also allows the carrier company to track the full fleet in real-time from the Carrier Portal. Drivers are prompted to enable this permission during app setup and it is strongly recommended to keep it enabled at all times while on duty.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation works differently depending on your account type:

Shippers: Shippers can submit an account deletion request directly from the Bikum mobile app. Once processed, your account will be deactivated and your subscription cancelled. Since Bikum is completely free for shippers, no refund applies. To reactivate your account, please email us at contact@bikum.org.

Carrier Companies: Carrier companies must send a cancellation request by email to contact@bikum.org. Since company registration on Bikum is free, no refund applies. To reactivate your account, please email us at contact@bikum.org. Please note that cancelling your carrier company account does not automatically cancel the subscriptions of truck drivers registered under your company — each driver must submit their own cancellation request individually from the My Profile screen in the Bikum mobile app.

Individual Truck Drivers: Drivers can submit a cancellation request from the My Profile screen in the Bikum app. Please note there is no refund on paid subscription fees. Once cancelled, your subscription remains active until the end of your current validity period — you will not be charged again after that. If you change your mind, you can resume your subscription at any time within the remaining validity period at no extra cost. Once the validity period ends, resuming access will require paying the standard subscription fee based on your chosen package (600 AED / 180 days or 1,000 AED / 360 days).

In all cases, subscriptions are never auto-renewed. When your validity period ends, your account will not be renewed unless you actively pay for a new subscription period.
